There is an email scam going around about Cardinal Tobin. Scala News likes to bring to the attention of Confreres and benefactors of the Redemptorists to be beware of emails stating that Cardinal Tobin is in need of money. A number of confreres received similar fake messages, first asking about the possibility of accommodation for Cardinal Tobin and when they respond to the message they receive more emails asking for help and to transfer money to domiciled accounts in different countries. Please do not respond to such emails and fall into the trap.
