The Catholic Church celebrates the 57th annual World Day of Prayer for Vocations on Good Shepherd Sunday, the Fourth Sunday of Easter. We are invited to pray ask our Good Shepherd to send more priests, sisters, brothers and missionaries who will offer their lives for His service in the Church. We want to pray that we continue to respond with zeal and joy to Lord’s call and that we could praise God for the new vocation to the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer.

Holy Father Pope Francis speaks in his World Day of Prayer for Vocations message about the risks involved in every vocation, the gratitude we owe to the Lord for His call, and the courage and praise with which we are called to live it.  [To see the Pope’s message, open the link here]

Fr. Pawel Drobot C.Ss.R., chair of the General Commission of the Redemptorist Youth and Vocation Ministry, in connection with the Good Shepherd Sunday addresses the young people, Redemptorist confreres, lay collaborators in the mission, thanking them for their involvement in the ministry and encouraging them to deepen their dedication to Christ the Redeemer – see the video below (English subtitles available).
