“On fire for the Lord”: Fr. Nguyen makes news with his summer Mission

(During the summer vacation Fr. Michael J. Truongluan, C.Ss.R., a Redemptorist priest studying in Rome, travelled around the world to preach retreats and missions. Robert Hiini, a catholic journalist has interviewed him and the result was the following article appeared in the “The Record”, a catholic newspaper in Australia.)
St. Alphonsus Maria de Liguori was a zealous servant of the Gospel. He believed that God wants to dwell in the human hearts and thus has once said, “The human heart is the paradise of God.”
How does God dwell in the human heart? Practically, through his word. By preaching the Gospel to the most abandoned, Redemptorist missionaries bring God into the heart of the people. Pronouncing the Good News of Jesus Christ is the life legacy and sole mission of the Redemptorist.
Following this sacred missionary tradition, Fr. Michael J. Truongluan, C.Ss.R. has travelled around the globe during the summer break of 2014 to preach Jesus Christ and his message of divine mercy to the world. Beginning from the Christ’s Cathedral in Southern California, he travelled to Houston, TX, at the Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, then London, UK, to Fatima, Portugal, to Toronto, Canada, then Australia in the cities of Adelaide, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane.
