Dear Friends around the world,
Evening now descends upon Rome and as a good night wish, I offer you the happy news that our Holy Father, Francis, has appointed our professor emeritus, the Rev. Fr. Réal Tremblay, C.Ss.R., as Dean of the Pontifical Academy of Theology.
To the new Dean go our best wishes for fruitful service in this apostolate that will surely be able to highlight the Evangelii gaudium (joy of the gospel) that we all need so much!
May the same “Incarnate Word that possesses a heart” guide the steps of our confrere and colleague, as he offers all his genius and strength to this lofty ecclesial service.
To your health, therefore, dear Dean!
May you have many, many years in that exalted service that best expresses itself in the blessed lowliness of the Virgin of Nazareth, our Mother!
On behalf of everyone,
Fr. Andrzej S. Wodka, C.Ss.R.
President of the Alphonsian Academy
