On September 11, 2024, we joyfully and gratefully commemorate 95 years of the Redemptorist mission in Haiti.

Since 1929, the Redemptorist Missionaries have brought the message of love, hope, and redemption to every corner of the country, working tirelessly to serve the communities most in need.

Throughout these years, we have seen the power of faith transform lives, heal hearts, and strengthen the spirit of a resilient nation. With each step taken, we continue to be inspired by the example of St. Alphonsus Liguori, who guides our path of solidarity and commitment.

We thank God for these 95 years of mission and service.
Let us move forward with faith and hope, building a future filled with love and compassion!

We also celebrate the 78th anniversary of the arrival of the Redemptorist Missionaries in the Dominican Republic.

On September 9, 2024, we celebrate with joy and gratitude the 78th anniversary of the arrival of the Redemptorist Missionaries in our beloved land, the Dominican Republic.

The first mission, which we know today as the Diocese and Cathedral of San Juan de la Maguana, was founded in San Juan de la Maguana. Since then, the Redemptorists’ missionary work has been a fundamental pillar in our community’s evangelization, spiritual formation, and growth.

A story, a mission…

Throughout these years, their mission has left an indelible mark on the hearts of the Dominicans, bringing the message of the Gospel and the love of Christ to every corner of our country.

We thank God for the presence and dedication of the Redemptorist Missionaries in our land. We continue to pray that their mission will continue to flourish and transform lives, as it has done in these 78 years.

May this celebration be a reason for renewal in our faith and in our commitment to continue working together for the Kingdom of God!
