During the week of September 1-5, the annual meeting of the Young Redemptorist Fathers of the Pedro Donders Province was held in the town of Atyrá, at the Marianella house.
There were days of prayer, reflection, formation, and moments of fraternal sharing. Twenty-one congregants from the various regional areas participated. We were accompanied by Fathers Miguel and Gustavo, current aspirant and postulant trainers in Asunción. Provincial Father Javier Machado visited us and shared the Eucharist, where he encouraged us to delve into the depths of our lives to reach out to others.

We concluded the meeting by thanking God for his goodness in our lives and vocations, and also by expressing gratitude for the intercession of the Virgin Mother of CaaCupé, celebrating Mass in the basilica and sanctuary dedicated to her in Paraguay.
The Pedro Donders Province is the presence of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.

The new Province of Blessed Peter Donders brings together the former units of Buenos Aires, Paraguay, Santiago de Chile, and Resistencia, as well as the mission in Mozambique.
The city of Asunción was chosen as the headquarters of the new unit, and Father Javier Machado, CSsR, was elected as the first Provincial Superior. The following were elected to the Ordinary Council: Father Ramón Correa, CSsR, Father José Rodríguez, CSsR, Father Mario Márques, and Father Enrique López. The Extraordinary Council is composed of Father Hugo Elías Stang, CSsR, and Father César Báez Amarilla, CSsR.
