Argentina: a regional meeting of missionaries


Regional meetings has taken more importance in the calendar of the Redemptorists in Argentina. Father Henry Kaczocha, travels thousands of miles to meet with the confreres who are working in many parts of Argentina. During the meetings confreres share their missionary experiences, as well as relevant topics that are valid for the Redemptorists around the world.

Between 19 and 20 May confreres working in Patagonia (community of Esquel, Lago Puelo and Gobernador Costa) met together to pray and share all that they experience as missionaries working at the “ends of the world.” Father Henry encouraged the confreres to reflect on topics of importance in the sexenium, and also about the restructuring and the forthcoming General Chapter. There was also a Community reflection based  on the questionnaires, which were aids reflect on the preparations of the upcoming chapter. The meeting was very fruitful. currently in Patagonia seven of the Redemptorists work. Three of them belong to the Province of Warsaw.
