The Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer (Latin: Congregatio Sanctissimi Redemptoris -C.Ss.R.) is a global Catholic missionary community founded in Italy in 1732 by St. Alphonsus Maria de Liguori. With the motto "Copiosa Apud Eum Redemptio" (With Him is Plentiful Redemption), we are dedicated to following the example of Jesus Christ by preaching the Gospel to the poor and most abandoned. Today, over 4,500 Redemptorists serve in 80+ countries, specialising in moral theology, parish missions, shrine pastoral and social justice, while promoting devotion to Our Mother of Perpetual Help.
