The Parish of the Most Holy Redeemer in Madrid informs us that it has received a letter of thanks from Ukraine for the help it has managed to send in recent months. With gratitude, from Ukraine!
In some photos (already published previously) we can see the trucks loaded with aid for Ukraine coming from Pamplona, prepared by Help Contain, Host and Share and the Holy Redeemer Parish of Madrid. A video shows us the arrival of the truck in Novoyavorivsk (Ukraine):
Here is the text that arrived thanking for the help. The gratitude of sharing!!!
Ukraine received humanitarian aid from Spain in the amount of 23.4 tons. Half of the cargo consists of food (canned vegetables, canned food, breakfast cereals, chocolate, sweets, and biscuits).
The rest of the cargo includes hygiene products (diapers, adult sanitary pads), used clothes, wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, and candles.
Such aid is mainly intended for:
- To our defenders, the military in the Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Donetsk regions.
- to hospitals and clinics on the front lines, especially in Kryvyi Rih, Kharkiv and Kherson.
- to internally displaced persons in shelters in the Kharkiv and Dnipro regions, especially in the city of Kamianske.
- to children with mental and physical disorders in the Zaluchansk orphanage, where 208 children live.
- to families of internally displaced persons and people in difficult living circumstances in Lviv and the Lviv region.
We want to thank our friends in Spain for their care, support, and kindness.
