Last Wednesday (16 July), the São Clemente Redemptorist Community, in Fortaleza (CE), received the canonical visit of the Provincial Government of the Redemptorist Province of Brasília. The moment marked another stage of the pastoral and fraternal accompaniment of the religious communities of the Province.

The visit was attended by the Provincial Superior, Father João Paulo, CSsR, and the Councilors, Father Reinaldo Martins, CSsR, and Brother Marcos Vinícius, CSsR. During their visit to the community, the members of the Provincial Government were able to share in the local life and mission, listening to the religious of the house and learning firsthand about the challenges and fruits of the pastoral work carried out in the region.

As part of the program, a meeting was also held with pastoral leaders from the São Raimundo Nonato Parish, which is under the care of the Redemptorists. The meeting was marked by dialogue, listening, and the exchange of experiences, reinforcing the joint commitment to evangelization, especially among the poorest and most abandoned.

The canonical visit is an important instrument of communion between Redemptorist missionaries and the Provincial Government, promoting the strengthening of community life, mission, and fidelity to the Redemptorist charism.
