On Saturday, November 29, the Province of Brasilia experienced a day of celebration and joy. Deacon Francisco Natanael, CSsR, was ordained a priest with the laying on of hands and the consecratory prayer by Most Rev. Zenildo Luiz Pereira da Silva, CSsR, bishop of the diocese of Borba (Brazil).
The celebration took place in the churchyard of the parish church of São Gonçalo, in Batalha, and marked a special moment for the entire community, as the new priest is the sixteenth to be ordained from the young Province of Brasilia.
Several Redemptorist missionaries, priests, religious, seminarians, family members, and friends were present to celebrate this moment of grace and communion.
Father Natanael carries out his missionary and pastoral work in the Parish of São Pedro Apóstolo in Vila Rica.
Let us pray for the ministry of our brother, that it may always be fruitful, enlightening, and full of the joy of service.
