On Sunday, April 26th, Good Shepherd Sunday, the second annual Redemptorist Youth Easter was held with great joy and enthusiasm, this year in the Santa Anita district of Lima, bringing together approximately 350 young people from various Redemptorist communities in the capital. This meaningful gathering became a privileged space for faith, communion, and spiritual renewal for all participants.

Throughout the day, the young people experienced intense moments of formation, exploring the mystery of Christ’s Resurrection as a source of living hope, motivating participants to embrace their Christian journey with greater commitment.

One of the most significant moments was the time dedicated to confession, where many young people had the opportunity to reconcile with God, experiencing his mercy and love. This personal encounter with the Lord prepared the hearts of the participants to fully experience the Eucharistic celebration, the center and culmination of the entire day.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament was another of the most profound moments, characterized by silence, prayer, and an intimate encounter with the living Christ. In this atmosphere of recollection, the young people were able to renew their faith and present their joys, worries, and dreams to the Lord.

The day was also filled with joy and fellowship, especially during the concerts, where music became a means of praise and celebration. Through song and entertainment, the young people enthusiastically expressed their faith and Easter joy.

Without a doubt, this Redemptorist Youth Easter left a profound impression on the hearts of the participants. Many expressed a sense of renewal, strengthened in their faith, and motivated to continue their commitment within their communities. This gathering reaffirms that the risen Christ continues to be a source of hope for today’s young people.

The Redemptorist Youth and Vocation Ministry thanks all those who made this event possible and invites us to continue walking together, joyfully announcing that Christ is risen and lives among us!
