On September 9, 2026, the Redemptorist community gathered with great joy at St Teresas Parish in St. John’s, NL, to celebrate the Perpetual Profession of Noel Oco, C.Ss.R.
His vows were received by Fr. Santo Arrigo, C.Ss.R., Provincial Superior of the Province of Canada, and witnessed by Fr. Tony Bidgood, C.Ss.R., and Fr. Ciro Alfonso Perez, C.Ss.R.
The celebration was made all the more special by the presence of Noel’s family and friends from Yellowknife, local parishioners, and his Redemptorist confrères from St. John’s, Yellowknife, Québec, Toronto, and Winnipeg.
May Noel’s lifelong “yes” to the Lord be filled with grace, joy, and faithful service to the People of God. May Mary, Mother of Perpetual Help, accompany him always in his vocation and ministry.
