With gratitude to the God of Life and History and to Saint Alphonsus, we share that the Provincial Chapter of the Redemptorist Missionaries of Bolivia and Peru took place in an atmosphere of fraternity, prayer, and co-responsibility. It was held at the Cieneguilla Retreat House in Lima, Peru, from September 22 to 25.
The confreres participated with enthusiasm and commitment, enriching the process with their reflections and proposals. This attitude gave the Chapter a dynamic and fruitful flow, allowing it to conclude its work ahead of schedule and achieve fundamental results for the life of our Province.
The main result was the approval of the Provincial Statutes, which express our identity and mission in this historical moment. Together with them, all the Provincial Directories were approved, which offer clear and practical criteria for guiding community life, mission, finances, formation, and various apostolic services.
This Provincial Chapter leaves us with a horizon of hope and commitment: to ensure that what we have approved does not remain on paper, but is transformed into testimony, mission, and concrete service to the People of God, especially the poorest and most abandoned.
We express our sincere thanks to each Chapter Father for his active participation; to the Chapter Commission and the Logistics Commission; to the moderators, notaries, secretaries, scrutineers and all those who made it possible for this Chapter to become a truly historic moment for our Province.
May God bless our Province and make us missionaries of hope.
