It’s been 150 years since the Redemptorists were entrusted with the ancient and miraculous icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help.

On September 17 we’re holding a jubilee celebration in her honor, and we hope you’ll be part of it.

Special events begin at 2 p.m. with Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. The principal celebrant will be The Most Rev. Father Michael Brehl, C.Ss.R., the Redemptorists’ worldwide superior general. The Mass will be televised live on EWTN, and the video feed is also being offered to New Evangelization Television (NET-TV) of the Diocese of Brooklyn and Telecare of the Diocese of Rockville Centre.

Afterward the festivities will continue on the adjacent campus of Catholic University. At the Pryzbyla University Center, we’re hosting a reception, complete with heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, dessert, and coffee. Tickets to the reception cost $25 per person.

We hope to see you September 17!
