General Commission for Youth and Vocation Ministry held its annual gathering in Rome that lasted from 5 to 8 of November. The main issue of the meeting was to finalize the works on the renewed Guidelines for Redemptorist Youth and Vocation Ministry.
The commission serves under the auspices of the General Secretariat for Evangelization. It’s immediate task is to offer to the Congregation guidelines that will be resonated by the treasures of Redemptorist charism, spirituality and the recent teachings of the church regarding evangelization to and with the young people.
This document which takes the signs of the time and the realities of our conferences into careful consideration will give unity and dynamism to the Redemptorist missionary engagements with young people whom we affirm as a missionary priority.
The final documents of the Guidelines will be sent to the leaders and animators of the Redemptorist Youth and Vocation Ministry in the various conferences for their observation and feedbacks.
