(Mumbai, India) A 3-day seminar for all Superiors, Parish Priests and members of Secretariats and Commissions of the V. Province of Majella was conducted from the 29th to the 31st January 2020 at Chembur community, Mumbai. The First day was conducted by Bishop Barthol Baretto the Auxiliary Bishop of Mumbai on the challenges in Pastoral Ministry today in the context of being a leader of the Parish. The second two days were conducted by Fr. Joe Mathias S.J., (Rector of St. Peter’s Pontifical Seminary) on Transformative Leadership in Religious Life for Apostolic Mission. Both resource persons drew on Communicanda 2 on Leadership as a resource document for reflection.
The 18 participants, which included the V Provincial Council reflected, shared, prayed together in interactive sessions which included role play on Confrontation and Carefrontation. The time was also spent in information and planning for the year ahead both at the level of the V. Province and the community with regard to the Jubilee Year of St. Clement.
