On the morning of Thursday, July 23, the Redemptorist Province of Curitiba met online, chaired by the Superior General of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, Father Rogério Gomes, C.Ss.R. The meeting was attended by the Provincial Superior, Father Edilei Rosa, C.Ss.R., the visitors, members of the Provincial Council, and all the confreres.
By connecting confreres scattered across different communities, the meeting transcended geographical barriers, strengthening fraternal bonds and rekindling the flame of the Redemptorist charism in every heart. The Superior General’s living presence and words of encouragement renewed in all the ardour to move forward with faith and dedication, guided by the certainty that “in Him is our hope; from Him comes abundant redemption” (cf. Ps 130:7).
Together, we reaffirmed our fundamental commitment: to bring the hope and love of Christ, especially to the poorest and most abandoned. As members of the same family, strong in faith and joyful in hope, we walk together as a single missionary body in service of the Kingdom.
With this message addressed to all, the Superior General officially concluded his fraternal visit. Let us praise God for this important moment in our missionary journey!
