The installation of eight brothers to the ministry of the altar as readers and acolytes, took place on September 12, 2023, at Our Mother of Perpetual Parish, Bajada Davao City, Philippines, during the 5:30 PM mass. The brothers from the Thailand Province, are: Christmas, Lert, Luke, Mark, and Mic. And from the Cebu Province; are: Paolo, Jung, and Dan. The installation was presided over by Fr. Cruzito Manding, C. Ss. R., (Rector). Fr. Sanny Umback, C.Ss. R. (RFC Formator/Province of Cebu) concelebrated it, and Fr. Frances Nguyen. C. Ss. R. (RFC Socius/Province of Vietnam).
Fr. Cruzito Manding, C. Ss. R., reminded the brothers to be courageous proclaimers of the Word of God to the people, like in doing their apostolate in the Gagmay Kristohanong Katilingban (GKK/BEC). He reminded everyone to be prayerful and compassionate. He asked everyone who was present in the celebration to pray for our brothers as they begin on a new journey towards a religious/priestly life where we are all called.

We congratulate our brothers who are instituted to the ministry of the altar. As they continue with their studies and ministry, may the blessings of God, the intercession of the Mother of Perpetual Help, and the spirit of St Alphonsus help them to grow in their vocation.
