We have received the sad news of the passing of Prof. Fr. Francisco Lage Martínez, professor emeritus of the Alphonsian Academy.
Prof. Lage taught at the Alphonsian Academy from 1986 to 2010 in the Biblical Section. Among his institutional roles, we remember those of Community Superior in Madrid SR, that of Provincial Vicar and Provincial Superior (1990-1995). Pastorally since 1971, he has served in the parish of Ss. Apóstoles (Las Lomas) where, alternately, he was superior and parish priest until his retirement to the community of Astorga in 2023. We entrust him to your prayers.
