The meeting of the local Superiors of the Redemptorist Missionaries of Mexico Province took place from March 4 to 6, 2025 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas. During this meeting, various activities were carried out, including a day of sharing with the Jesuit brothers on March 4, with whom the Migrant Mission project is shared.
Several topics were discussed, such as the ongoing unification process between the Redemptorist Missionaries of Mexico and the United States, with the aim of forming a new province. In addition, among other topics, the most demanding provincial projects were discussed, such as the border mission and the indigenous mission.

Let us remember that the Redemptorist Missionaries of Mexico and the United States are restructuring to form a new province; this process will take years. By 2027, the first provincial government of both countries will be elected. We are four units that are working together to form a new province. We have organized ourselves into subcommittees to combine our projects: Mission Committee, Apostolic Life Committee, Formation Committee, Administration Committee, and Finance Committee.
