On June 23, the community of Redemptoristine Nuns in Bielsko-Biała held elections for the superior and council.

The event was prepared by the community with the Eucharistic celebration presided over by the bishop of the diocese of Bielsko-Żywiec, Roman Pindel, in concelebration with Father Jarosław Liebersbach CSsR, chaplain of the community of nuns.

In his homily, the bishop, starting from the description of the Annunciation to Mary, indicated the elements of a good discernment of God’s will and of the response to the call with which God addresses man.

Subsequently, the nuns, after having pronounced their perpetual vows, proceeded to vote and re-elected for a second term the Superior and the Board of Directors in the same composition, even if some nuns changed their place and their duties:

Sister Beata Figura was re-elected Superior for a second term, Sister Kazimiera Kut was elected vicar, Sister Agnieszka Kot was elected secretary, and Sister Urszula Nowińska and Sister Anna Winnicka were elected counsellors.
