A Global Celebration of Faith and Mission
The Global Novena to St. Alphonsus Maria Di Liguori 2025 was a powerful spiritual journey that united Redemptorist communities and lay partners in the Mission from around the world. Hosted by Redemptorist Media Center, Bangalore, this nine-day novena honored the legacy of St. Alphonsus, founder of the Redemptorists and a champion of compassion, theology, and mission.
This year’s novena was made even more special through the heartfelt participation of Lay Partners in Mission from around the globe, whose reflections added depth and global resonance to the event.
Each day of the novena featured a unique theme and lay partner’s perspective, showcasing the global reach of Redemptorist spirituality.
A Mission Shared Across Continents
The Novena reflections by lay partners in the Mission highlighted the strength that lay involvement in the Redemptorist mission brings worldwide. Lay Partners shared personal testimonies, spiritual insights, and stories of service that echoed the teachings of St. Alphonsus.
Their presence reminds all of us that mission is not confined to religious communities but it is a shared calling that transcends the distinctions between lay and consecrated, lay and clerical, and a deeper unity through our common call to holiness rooted in baptism.
A Legacy That Lives On
The novena served as a beacon of hope, unity, and renewal. It reaffirmed the Redemptorist commitment to preaching the Gospel to the poor and marginalized, with lay partners playing a vital role in this sacred mission.
