About the Speaker: Sister Simona Brambilla was born in Monza on 27 March 1965. After obtaining her nursing diploma, she entered the Institute of the Consolata Missionary Sisters in 1988, where she made her first religious profession in 1991. She continued her studies, obtaining a Licentiate and a Doctorate in Psychology from the Pontifical Gregorian University.

Her missionary experience took her to Mozambique, where she devoted herself to youth ministry. From 2011 to 2023, she served as Superior General of the Consolata Missionary Sisters, leading the congregation with dedication. In 2023, Pope Francis appointed her first as Secretary and then as Prefect of the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, becoming the second woman to hold such a position of responsibility in the Roman Curia.

The meeting will be streamed on our YouTube channel. It will be an opportunity to come together as a Congregation, to reflect on our vocation, and to renew our commitment to our redemptorist mission.
