Priests, religious, and laypeople who adhere to the Redemptorist charism and spirituality and are integrated into local communities, both in the Buenos Aires Region and the Resistencia Region—both belonging to the Pedro Donders Province—met from January 26 to 30 in Villa Allende, Córdoba.
“In Shared Mission, let us cross over to the other side” was the motto that accompanied the meeting. The “Exodus” of St. Alphonsus provided guidance and inspiration in the development of the theme proposed during those days.
The fraternal, celebratory atmosphere of integration, communion, and participation enlivened each of the days. Delving into the ecclesial and congregational approach of Shared Mission and taking up the challenge of crossing to other geographical and existential shores, making the Kingdom of God present in the heart of a wounded world, in the style of St. Alphonsus, was the proposal taken up by all those who participated in the Redemptorist Family meeting.
All the richness experienced, the joyful and challenging experience of knowing and feeling encouraged by a charism so current and so relevant in the life of the Church and our society is left in the hands of the Lord and Mary, under the invocation of Perpetual Help.
