From May 4th to 8th, the first provincial retreat of the Pedro Donders Province was held at the Marianela retreat house in Atyrá, Paraguay. Further retreats will be held in Argentina and Chile.
The retreat preacher was Father José María Recondo, an Argentine diocesan priest, a doctor in spiritual theology and the author of several books.
The central theme of the retreat was “learning to love like shepherds,” based on the book “Learning to love like shepherds,” written by the retreat preacher himself.
Several Redemptorists from Paraguay and Argentina participated in the retreat. It was a wonderful opportunity for prayer, reflection, fraternal sharing, and the renewal of our religious and priestly consecration.
