(Nigeria) The Vice Province of Nigeria continues to count her blessings and to name them one-by-one. This time, it’s the news of the blessing of the Temporary profession of six young men who said goodbye to the world to follow the person of the Redeemer in the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer. The men who took their simple vows are Elemuo Nnamdi Gabriel, Ogu Osinachi Frankline, Nwachukwu Nnadozie Pedro, Christopher Chidiebere Iwuorie, Ologunagba Olumiyiwa JohnMary. They constitute the twenty-seventh professed class in the Vice Province.

The Liturgy was presided over by Vice Provincial Superior, Fr. Kingsley Onyekuru, who also received their vows. Novice Director, Fr. Boniface Nnabuike and Fr. Henrymary Mbanefo, pre-novice Director, were the two official witnesses to sign the certificate of the profession.
Several other Redemptorist confreres, priests, religious, family members and friends of the professed attended the ceremony which took place in Mater Domini, the Novitiate House in Alulu Nike, Enugu State.

It is important to mention that the newly professed have since moved to join their counterparts in the student house and have resumed studies in philosophy at the diocesan Major Seminary. Here is wishing them the best and the grace of perseverance as vowed Redemptorists.
