(Indonesia) The Redemptorist Mission Week was held from 2nd to 9th of September 2018 at Totok Station. This week was the end of entire retreat preached together for 99 days till now in different stations of the Diocese.

The first day being Monday, we commemorated the Children’s Day with the Theme “let the children come to me.” The parents were encouraged to bring along their children for special sessions for them followed by the blessing of all the children gathered. The faithful were invited on the second day to reflect on the vocation especially focusing their call as Christians. The young and elderly were led through reflecting the special mission by God to all human beings and reflected their call as dignified human beings.

The main topic for Wednesday was Christian Families. It was the day for the married couples to celebrate their married life. They were encouraged to live their call and participate willingly in the building of the wider family i.e. the Church.  There were other programs carried out the other days from Thursday to Saturday. The people of the station joined in procession and pilgrimages that were held. The Eucharistic celebrations were grand. There were three major processions of the Blessed Sacrament, of the Holy Cross and of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

We hope and pray that these mission weeks help the people to grow in their faith.

Fr. Willy, CSsR.
