Now she is in intensive care due to some complications. “
This is the prayer that the secretary general of the Missionaries of Our Lady of Perpetual Help writes to Father Michael Brehl so that together we can pray for the health of Sr. Maritza Josefina.
The Missionaries of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (MPS) is a religious missionary congregation founded in Mexico on September 17, 1934 by a Spanish Redemptorist priest Fr. Agustín Nistal García, CSsR and Mexican catechist – Maria Teresa Rivera Carrillo, who became her first general superior.
They currently work with the Redemptorists in India, the Philippines, Venezuela, the United States, and Mexico.
Sister Maritza Josefina Morillo Herrera was elected as Superior General of the Congregation of the Missionaries of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (MPS), Thursday 3 August 2017.
