(Bonn, Germany) The Holy Mass for our Outgoing volunteers was celebrated in our monastery church of St. Joseph in Bonn on August 23, 2019.
Father Jürgen Langer and the volunteers from our RVM project had prepared this Holy Mass. Father Johannes Römelt – Coordinator for Europe – was invited as the main celebrant. Many family members of the volunteers and RVM Veterans attended the mass.
Altogether 13 selected Redemptorist volunteers will be working for 11 months in several Redemptorist Schools and Social Communities around the world. They will be located in Pada Dita / Sumba (2), Homba Karipit / Sumba (1), Lima / Peru (2), Córdoba / Argentina (1), Cork / Ireland (2), Belfast/North Ireland (1), Paraguay (1), Bronx / USA (2) and Philadelphia / USA (1). Most of our volunteers – a total of six – have graduated at the Collegium Josephinum Bonn, the Redemptorist High School in Bonn.”
By the Redemptorist Volunteer Ministries, they will experience real live globalization that connects young adults and Redemptorist communities around the world and offers the unique opportunity to engage socially in a Christian environment.
