The Redemptorist Mission of Ghana under the Province of Bogota is blessed to welcome a new perpetually professed confrere into the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer.

The confrere, Bro. Eugene Kodzo Adzaklu, C.Ss.R (a.k.a Bright), who began his initial Redemptorist formation in 2010 and professed his temporary vows as a Redemptorist on 6th August 2016, rejoiced as he made his perpetual profession of the vows of chastity, poverty and obedience together with the oath of perseverance on 11th April 2021 during the Holy Mass of Divine Mercy Sunday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Mawuli Estate — Ho.

The Mass was presided over by Fr. Christian Ewoenam Klu, C.Ss.R, Superior of the Mission of Ghana, and concelebrated by other Redemptorists. The homily was delivered by Fr. Luis Carlos Murillo, C.Ss.R, Superior of the Province of Bogota, who was on his canonical visit to the Mission of Ghana. Fr. Murillo exhorted Bro Eugene always to keep in mind and at heart that it was God who called him to serve the poor and the most abandoned. And that service must be the hallmark of his Redemptorist missionary vocation.

After the homily, Bro. Eugene Kodzo Adzaklu, C.Ss.R. made his final profession of vows. He was fraternally received by Fr. Luis Carlos Murillo, C.Ss.R as a perpetually professed Redemptorist to the glory of God and to the joy of all who were present.
