Bishop Stepan Meniok, C.Ss.R., Archiepiscopal Exarch of Donets’k-Kharkiv, has spoken to Vatican News about the role Catholic priests play in their parishes and daily life, despite the dangers they face. The Exarch asks Christians to pray for people suffering under Russia’s brutal bombardments in the eastern Donbas region, saying priests stay with their people despite the ongoing war.
