Paraguay: A new song to St Alphonsus

Less than a month before celebrating the Feast of Saint Alphonsus de’ Liguori, a new song dedicated to the saint of the Age of Enlightenment comes to us from Paraguay. Father Leo Valdez, Redemptorist missionary of Paraguay, singer and composer, and the Maranathá Choir of the Most Holy Redeemer Parish offer us a moving video called “Canto a San Alfonso”.

This joyful musical composition, dedicated to St. Alphonsus Maria de’ Liguori, founder of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, was produced in the Spirit and Sound studios under the direction of Maestro Sergio Cuquejo. The idea is to make more people know, admire and follow the example of holiness of Saint Alphonsus, Doctor of the Church, patron of lawyers, confessors and moralists, tireless missionary, and friend of the simple people.
