Casimiro and Luca made Oblates of the Congregation

The Third Sunday of Easter marked a significant milestone in the Congregation and at the Casa San Alfonso in Rome, as Fr. Rogério Gomes, Superior General, presided over the Eucharist, during which two of the House Staff, Mr Casimiro (Kazimierz) Michalek and Luca Duong Loi Phuoc were made Oblates of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer. Fr. Rogério gave thanks to the Lord and expressed his gratitude in the name of the Congregation to both Luca and Casimiro for their unwavering dedication and service to the congregation in a heartfelt ceremony on 14th April 2024 at the Church of St. Alphonsus, Rome.

Fr. Rogério’s homily underscored the invaluable contributions of Casimiro and Luca to the community at St Alphonsus, Rome. Their selfless commitment and tireless efforts have been pillars of strength, embodying the spirit of service and devotion central to the Congregation’s ethos.

Following the inspiring homily, Fr. Rogério proceeded to confer upon Casimiro and Luca the distinguished title of Oblates of the Congregation. This honor, bestowed upon them with deep reverence, symbolizes their integral role within the spiritual fabric of the community.

With a gesture of appreciation, Fr. Rogério presented Casimiro and Luca with certificates commemorating their noble service. Additionally, they were adorned with the esteemed Redemptorist cross, a timeless emblem of faith and sacrifice.

As the congregation gathered in solemn reflection, a profound sense of gratitude permeated the sanctuary. The collective acknowledgment of Casimiro and Luca’s devotion served as a  reminder of the transformative power of faith and service within the Redemptorist community.
