The Redemptorists, belonging to the Province of Liguori in India, a unit of the Congregation in the Syro-Malabar Church, rejoice with the universal Church as three of our confreres were ordained to the prirsthood after completing successfully their seminary studies and other requirements. Dn. Joepaul (Xavier) Pullan C.Ss.R was ordained on 8th of May 2025 by Mar Jose Puthenveetil, the auxiliary bishop of Faridabad and both Dn. Jinto (Antony) Mundackal C.Ss.R and Dn. Akhil (Antony) Thalachira C.Ss.R were ordained on 10th of May and on 22nd May, 2025 respectively by Mar. Pauly Kannookadan, the Bishop of Iringlakuda, in the presence of many Redemptorist confreres from different communities, other priests, religious and a large number of lay faithful.
Rev. Fr. Poly Kannampuzha C.Ss.R, the Provincial Superior of the Liguori Province, was the Archdeacon for the ordination ceremonies. While felicitating the newly ordained, he expressed his great joy and congratulated each of them. We thank the parents and family members of these three confreres for their sacrifice and for giving them to serve the Church through the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer.
As we welcome these newly ordained confreres to the Altar of the Most High, we wish them God’s blessings to continue the mission of the Redeemer more effectively through the ministry of Priesthood. May Christ the Redeemer continue to bless us and use us as his Missionaries of Hope.
