Formees’ Gathering of the Province of Ligouri, Kerala, took place at Redemptorist Retreat Centre, Kottayam from 26-30th May, 2025. Fr. Poly Kannampuzha (Provincial superior) in his inaugural address reminded that every formees’ gathering is a time of coming together to celebrate our Redemptorist brotherhood. Indeed, it was a time of such brotherhood experiencing spiritual and intellectual enlightenment. There were various input sessions, discussions and sharing organized by the secretariat of formation as part of the gathering. The input session given by Sr. Joyce Maria SH on Human Psychology and wellbeing was worth attending.
There were also many events organized during the gathering. Felicitation of newly ordained confreres, Commissiong of Pastoral Year Fathers, reception of the minor orders and final profession of two of our brothers were part of it. All these celebrations conveyed a message of our Redemptorist Missionary Spirit and brotherhood to the formees.’ Indeed, formees’ gathering was a time of brotherly love, sharing and caring.
As the gathering came to an end, the students left with hearts full of encouragement, deeper bonds of fellowship, and a renewed commitment to their calling.
