The 34th Radio Maryja Family Pilgrimage to Jasna Góra took place on Sunday, July 13, 2025. The highlight of this prayerful gathering was Holy Mass presided over by Bishop Tadeusz Lityński, Ordinary of the Zielona Góra-Gorzów Diocese. The pilgrimage was broadcasted by TV Trwam and Radio Maryja.

Pilgrims from various parts of Poland began gathering at the Jasna Góra meadows in the early morning hours. They were greeted by the fathers who serve on Radio Maryja: Father Grzegorz Moj, CSsR, and Father Witold Hetnar, CSsR.

After 8:00 a.m., the faithful sang the Hours in honor of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

After the Hours, a concert by the Bayer Full band took place. Pilgrims could hear religious and patriotic songs such as “Wspaniała Matka” (Wonderful Mother), “Dzięki Jezu” (Thank Jesus), and “Maryjo, kochaczna pani” (Mary, Beautiful Lady).

The focal point of the prayer meeting was the Eucharist, presided over by Bishop Tadeusz Lityński, Ordinary of the Zielona Góra-Gorzów Diocese.

Before the Mass, the Director of Radio Maryja, Fr. Tadeusz Rydzyk, CSsR, addressed the pilgrims. He noted that much still needs to be done to win people’s hearts back to God. “We also need to read what is happening in Poland now. What does God want to tell us through this? What does He want to tell us? Or perhaps to be even more one with Him? Isn’t that right? Is Poland really a country of believers? Do we seriously accept the Lord Jesus and live with Him every day? Or is it just a custom, even when we come to Church? What does He want to tell us through all this happening? Incredible things are happening. We can’t understand it. People say, I can’t understand it.” How did this happen? How is it that we are undermining our own roots? (…) Notice what is happening. Poles are acting to the detriment of the Church. They elect people to parliament who destroy the Church, who destroy faith in Poland, who fight religion. Who elects this? Are we Catholics? Disciples of Christ? Is this possible? We elect those who want to remove religion from schools. Poland chose them too. Poles. Look how much we have to do to win people back, to win back their hearts for God, their thinking” –  emphasized Father Tadeusz Rydzyk CSsR.

At the beginning of Holy Mass, the participants of the XXXIV Radio Maryja Family Pilgrimage to Jasna Góra were welcomed by Father Samuel Pacholski OSPPE, Prior of Jasna Góra.

Then, the head of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, Małgorzata Paprocka, read a letter to the pilgrimage participants, addressed by President Andrzej Duda.

Karol Nawrocki, President-elect of the Republic of Poland and President of the Institute of National Remembrance, also addressed a letter to those gathered at Jasna Góra Meadows. It was read by Jan Józef Kasprzyk, Advisor to the President of the Institute of National Remembrance.

Then, a letter from the president of Law and Justice, Jarosław Kaczyński, was read by the chairman of the PiS Parliamentary Club, Mariusz Błaszczak.

In his homily, Bishop Tadeusz Lityński pointed out that the Radio Maryja Family, praying and bearing witness to courageous faith, plays an important role in leading people to Jesus, who is the truth. “You are sometimes like an ambulance rushing to help, not just through prayer. You are like heralds of truth, also about contemporary threats to family, church, and homeland, from the East and the West, which many, these very heralds, would like to silence, silence, turn off their radios. You are calling for justice for those who have been wronged and humiliated. Their good names have been stripped, their sense of human dignity stripped. You do not allow them to be forgotten. This is a mission, and this mission also builds national identity,”  emphasized the Ordinary of the Zielona Góra-Gorzów Diocese.

Father Dariusz Paszyński CSsR, Provincial of the Warsaw Province of the Redemptorists, thanked the gathered faithful. “I would like to thank you very warmly, dear Radio Maryja Family, for transmitting these most genuine reasons for hope through your apostolic commitment. Let us not be discouraged that this hope is often rejected, not accepted, but this is inscribed in the fate of every apostle, everyone who trusts in Jesus Christ. And it is precisely this rejection and misunderstanding that provides an opportunity to proclaim, to justify hope, to justify one’s faith. Saint John Paul II repeatedly said that in transmitting the Gospel, it is not enough to simply recall the Christian past, that this is how it once was, but we must shape the future in an encounter with the person and message of Jesus Christ. And this happens through your lives, through your actions, your commitment, through your apostolate. Therefore, I thank you very warmly, dear Radio Maryja Family. God bless you. We still have a very important task ahead of us – to transmit the Good News, the Gospel, to the younger generation. This is our debt. This is our duty,”  emphasized Father Dariusz Paszyński, CSsR.

The Provincial of the Warsaw Province of the Redemptorists also announced that, by decision of the Redemptorist community serving at Radio Maryja, and with the support of the provincial board, Prof. Janusz Kawecki and Fr. Prof. Paweł Bortkiewicz were incorporated into the community of Oblates of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer.

After the Mass, there was a concert performed by the “Victoria” Concert Orchestra of the Parish of Our Lady of Victory in Warsaw-Rembertów.

The 34th Pilgrimage of the Radio Maryja Family to Jasna Góra concluded with the prayer of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

The prayer meeting was broadcast by TV Trwam and Radio Maryja.
