From November 24–27, the Redemptorists of the Province of Thailand, gathered in Pattaya for our annual recollection and meeting. The gathering opened with an update on the Provincial status, along with presentations on our current missions and ministries. The Provincial Superior officially welcomed all confreres and offered his opening remarks, inviting us to review and reflect on Communicanda 2, centered on the theme “Let Us Cross Over to the Other Side.”

Over the next two days, Fr. Ekkamai, O.F.M. Cap., guided us through moments of recollection and spiritual renewal. On the final day, the Provincial Superior presented Communicanda 2 in greater depth, followed by small group sharing and a plenary session. In the afternoon, various Secretariats shared their updates, and the day concluded with a meeting with the OPC, during which the Provincial relayed key points from the Mid-Sexennial Meeting and the Conference Assembly.

The gathering concluded with a Thanksgiving Mass presided over by the Provincial, with hymns beautifully sung by our students from the School for the Blind. A festive meal followed in celebration of Thanksgiving Day. Bishop Emeritus Lawrence Thienchai Samanchit of the Diocese of Chanthaburi, together with local clergy, religious, and our students, joined us for an evening filled with good food, uplifting music from our students of the Vocational School for People with Disabilities and from our confreres, and joyful fraternity. Our young students also shared an early Christmas gift by offering their heartfelt carolling.
