The Meeting of Redemptorist Lay Animators, an event entitled “Pilgrims in a Shared Mission,” took place in Resistencia on November 21, 22, and 23, 2025. The Pedro Donders Province enthusiastically participated in this moment of spiritual enrichment, formation, and communion, which brought together representatives of the various communities to share the experience of being pilgrims in a shared mission.
The meeting was led and accompanied by Father Enrique López, CSsR, Provincial Vicar, whose presence brought closeness, pastoral clarity, and a strong missionary thrust. The days began with a warm welcome and the celebration of the Eucharist, which marked the fraternal spirit of the entire event.
Over the weekend, participants shared moments of prayer, presentations, training modules, and integration dynamics that strengthened the identity and commitment of lay animators within the Redemptorist Family.

The modules addressed key themes such as the fundamental principles of the Directory, the richness of the Redemptorist Family, the shared mission, the profile of the Redemptorist layperson, and initial and ongoing formation programs. The structures that support the mission at various levels—general, Conference, provincial, and community—were also presented, allowing for an understanding of the breadth and depth of lay participation in our evangelizing mission.

Group work, plenary sessions, and moments of fraternal exchange, including a cultural bonfire, strengthened communion among the participating communities. The meeting concluded with the closing Mass at the Parish of the Assumption – Shrine of Divine Mercy, renewing the hope and missionary commitment of all present.
We thank each facilitator for their dedication, availability, and the community spirit with which they have experienced these days. We invite the entire community to continue supporting and strengthening lay initiatives, so that together we can continue to proclaim the Good News with joy and hope.
