Held from April 22–25, 2026 at Saint Paul Church Nakian, the District 2 Youth Camp of the Diocese of Chiang Mai gathered 486 young participants, along with 18 priests, 10 sisters, and 22 brothers and major seminarians from the diocese and Betharam. Redemptorist confreres and youth from our mission areas also joined the event as members of District 2. This annual gathering remains a significant pastoral initiative, fostering faith, participation, and the integral formation of young people within the local Church.
This year’s program featured three main activities, thoughtfully designed to be engaging and accessible without being overly demanding. The themes included Laudato Si’, the preventive system of Don Bosco, and the Sacrament of Marriage, each offering meaningful opportunities for learning, reflection, and interaction, and helping participants connect their faith with daily life.
In addition to the formation sessions, the camp included outdoor activities and sports such as football and volleyball, creating a joyful atmosphere of friendship and community. Through this balanced program, the youth were encouraged to grow spiritually, build lasting relationships, and experience the Church as a vibrant community journeying together.
