“My grace is sufficient for you” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
The faithful of the Missionary District of Anjiro are filled with gratitude to God for the many blessings they have received, especially the Christian community of the Immaculate Heart of Jesus Parish in Faradofay-Marovitsika.
They recently celebrated the 15th anniversary of the priestly ordination of Fr. Lanto, C.Ss.R., a Redemptorist confrere who holds a special place in the history of the district as the first Redemptorist priest originating from the Missionary District of Anjiro.
The celebration was made even more significant by the blessing of the new church, a great grace for the Christian community and an important milestone in the pastoral life of the district.
During the Eucharistic celebration, 66 young people and adults received the Sacrament of Confirmation, renewing their commitment to the faith and their mission as witnesses of Christ.
The Holy Mass was presided over by Bishop Rosario Saro Vella, Bishop of the Diocese of Moramanga. Several Redemptorist confreres joined in the joyful occasion, together with Fr. Bary Théophile, Vice Provincial, and Fr. Ferdinand, Vice-Provincial Vicar.
The celebration was a moment of profound joy, thanksgiving, and fraternal communion for the entire Christian community and for the Missionary District of Anjiro.
Fr. Hubert Ambinina Aimé Ramananiaina, C.Ss.R.
