(Saigon, Vietnam) Today, 30 June 2021, is a joyful day for the Province and for the whole Congregation. Eleven novices made their First Religious Profession, and 12 brothers took the Final Religious Profession, at the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Shrine in Saigon.

It is a special occasion for the confreres from different parts of Vietnam to meet each other and share missions and brotherhood. All family members and friends of all the candidates were so happy to witness the moment of these young men when they dedicated their lives to God through the Redemptorist mission.

In the homily, the Provincial praised God for the call of all these young men. He also thanked these brothers for their brave acceptance of God’s call to be the Redemptorist missionaries. He believes that religious life still has a special value in this society if the religious people live their commitment to God through their vows faithfully. They will become witnesses to God’s presence in the world.

We thank our Christ the Redeemer for calling these young men to follow Him as the Redemptorist and also pray for them to be faithful to God.
