The Bishop of Getafe will preside over the Mass on the feast of the Most Holy Redeemer

On October 15, we will celebrate the Eucharist in thanksgiving for the bicentennial of Antonia’s birth and in honor of the Feast of the Most Holy Redeemer -third Sunday of October- in the church of our Mother House, in Ciempozuelos (Madrid, Spain) .

The Most Holy Redeemer is the head of our Congregation, and inspirer for the foundation in Ciempozuelos, carried out by Antonia María de Oviedo in 1870, with the support of José María Benito Serra.

The Mass will be presided over by Bishop Ginés García Beltrán, Bishop of the Diocese of Getafe. At 7:00 p.m., you can visit the exhibition “Life and Mission of the Venerable M. Antonia María de la Misericordia”, which will be guided by Sister Marisa Cotolí, OSR. Then, at 7:45 p.m., we will share the party and the joy having a hot chocolate with churros.

This celebration is open to all who wish to join and is organized by the four communities of Oblate Sisters in Madrid: the Mother House in Ciempozuelos, the General House (Cartagena Street) and the two communities of sisters in Carabanchel ( Penguin Street).
