The Mission Assembly of the Liguori Province Kerala, India, was held from November 6- 7 at Redemptorist Renewal Centre (RRC) Kottayam. It was a time of grace for all 32 participants and the whole province. During the orientation talk, Rev. Fr. Benny Nalkara, CMI, highlighted the need to understand the signs of the time and have a prophetic witness. Based on the teachings of St. Alphonsus, he invited us to think about the ‘3 Ps’: Presence, Participation and Prayer. Then, we had discussions and deliberations based on four topics: Parish Missions, Youth Ministry, Social Ministry and Media Ministry. We had included videos shared by the confreres who are engaged in the ministry abroad to enlighten with their missionary zeal and present-day challenges. Common prayers, experience sharing, and systematic discussions brought concrete plans of action for the future for the various ministries we are engaged in.
