The inauguration of the new academic year at the Alphonsian Academy, Alphonse Bhavan, Edoor, took place on 8th June 2025, led by Fr. Poly Kannampuzha C.Ss.R., Provincial, Liguori Province. The program began with evening prayer (Ramsa) and was honored by the presence of Frs. Shijo Meppilly, Secretary of Formation, Alex Theruvankunnel, Sijo Velledath, and Jaise Kulathingal, along with all the fathers of the community. In his message, Fr. Shijo Meppilly emphasized the importance of formation in religious life and how to be a true Redemptorist.
Rev. Fr. Provincial inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the lamp. There are four students this year doing their college studies at Alphonse Bhavan, Edoor under the directorship of Fr. Sijo Thaliyathu and Fr. Nithin Chirackalpurayidathil as socius. The students are talented in many ways and looking forward to excelling in their studies with renewed zeal in the new academic year.
