From the evening of October 13 until the morning of October 18, the Redemptorists Province of Thailand, through the Formators’ Team and the Youth Commission, organized the Vocation and Youth Camp at the Redemptorist Center in Pattaya.
Almost 150 young people, both boys and girls, from different parts of the country participated in the program, together with our formators, postulants, aspirants, members of the Youth Commission, a deacon, and lay partners.
The camp aimed to inspire and accompany young people in discovering their identity and life’s purpose through four interrelated dimensions:
- Calling to Self – personal understanding, development, and growth.
- Calling for Others – social awareness, compassion, and engagement.
- Calling from and for God – deepening of faith and spiritual experience.
- Calling to be Sent – responding to God’s call through one’s vocation in life.
Throughout the week, participants embarked on an inner and communal journey, listening to God’s voice in silence and prayer, opening their hearts to others in service and sharing, and discerning how they are being called to live meaningfully in today’s world.
The camp was filled with vibrant activities, creative workshops, group reflections, and short community trips, all designed to nurture joy, friendship, and faith. It was truly a grace-filled and transformative experience, bringing together many young people to journey with one another and with God during this significant stage of their lives.
