From July 6 to 10, the Meeting of Formators and Vocational Promoters of the Redemptorist Provinces of Brazil was held at Vila Santo Afonso in Guaratinguetá (SP), on the theme: “Forming men for the mission in the 21st century,” with the consultancy of psychologist Marco Aurélio Martino.
A moment of formation and sharing of experiences among the three Redemptorist Provinces of Brazil. Over the course of the days, formators and vocational promoters were interviewed about the formation and guidance of candidates applying to the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer and how these young people arrive at the formation houses. These are young people, children of their time and culture, with their own challenges and riches.
At the end of the meeting, the formators drafted a manifesto letter addressed to the Provincial Superiors on the need to develop a Common Formation Project for all of Brazil, which offers guiding principles without excluding different cultures, but which helps Redemptorist formators in Brazil have a unified approach: unity in formation.
