The fruit of extensive work by a research community comprised of professors from diverse disciplines and participants in the resulting course, this volume offers a methodological proposal from a transdisciplinary perspective. It addresses the challenge of the anthropological foundation of moral theology through an analysis of the concept of person and its possible relational basis. By examining several authors relevant to the understanding of the person, we seek to identify how different conceptions of the subject have left their mark on all fields of knowledge, particularly moral theology. Subsequently, through dialogue with various extra-theological paradigms, we aim to investigate how, starting from a relational understanding of the person, a more holistic vision of the human being can emerge, enriching the development of a theological ethics relevant to the present.
