Spicilegium Historicum – Second publication of 2022

(Rome) The second issue of “Spicilegium Historicum Congregationis SSmi Redemptoris” has been published for the year 2022, as usual brings numerous contributions to the history of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer.

One of the articles of this second issue: “The Caserta Caetani villa at the Esquiline in the documents of the general archive of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer”, tells in an exemplary way details of the place where the Roman life of the sons of Sant Alfonso began.
“Three great personalities visited the Villa Caserta, namely Innocent XII, Maria Casimira, Queen of Poland, in 1700, and Pius VII in 1806. These visits are revealed by the following Inscriptions, carved in marble and fixed in the walls of the Palace and dependent factories … “

The periodical is a publication of the Historical Institute of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer.
