The first of four interprovincial assemblies began on November 18, which will help the confreres of the United States and Mexico units to integrate and take steps toward the formation of the new province.

This assembly, which lasts until November 22, takes place in Long Branch, New Jersey, United States, with the participation of 30 confreres from Mexico and the United States, some provincials and of course the coordinator of the North American Conference, Father Jerome Chavarria.

The meeting is organized by the Subcommittee on the Unification of Apostolic Life: Joe Lee (Extra-Patriam), Ken Stigner (Baltimore), Roberto Ávalos (Mexico) and Patrick Keyes (Denver).

The intention of these meetings is to reflect and deepen the Redemptorist identity, to get to know each other, to share aspects of spirituality and missionary work. Sharing the Eucharist in different languages, prayer, recreation, reflections in small and large groups, etc. On this occasion, the Sanctuary of St. John Neumann in Philadelphia will be visited.
